Plantaze Kruna Grape Brandy

Kruna is a colorless, hard alcoholic drink with 50 vol% alcohol, very potable, harmonious, full and warm mouth feel. Wine smell, strongly expressed with mild pomace smell afterwards. Kruna is a premium brandy, made in the small volume copper vats, in the manner in which it had been made for centuries in Montenegro. The grapevine twigs and old branches from Cemovsko field are placed under the copper vats from Cemovsko field.

Distillation runs very slowly with good cooling in order to achieve better quality. It is only the middle fraction (heart) of the distillate that is separated, laying down in the vats of the inert materials 1-2 years at least, after which a potable and mild grape brandy of a specific and lingering varietal aroma is made.

It is served at 5-7°C. It is recommended both before and after the meal and may be used for preparing cocktails, as well.

Plantaze Crnogorska Lozova Rakija

Crnogorska Lozova Rakija brandy is distilled from the finest dark blue grapes grown in the southern parts of Montenegro. It is recommended to be served chilled. This grape brandy is a hard alcoholic drink, 47% vol, very potable, balanced with mildly developed aroma, made of the grapes of the varieties of vranac and kratošija. It is an autochtonous Montenegrin product, belonging to the group of natural brandies. It is made by the distillation of the whole crushed grapes. By combination and selection of the distillates and aging in the inox tanks at low temperatures, these distillates become balanced, expressing the aromas, particular for the autochthonous Montenegrin variety of Vranac.

It is served well cooled at 4-5°C and recommended both as an aperitif and digestive. In Montenegro, it is traditionally served with dry figs, raisins, and walnuts. It can be used for making cocktails as well.

Plantaze Prvijenac

Montenegrin Prvijenac is a colorless,hard alcoholic drink with 50 vol% alcohol. It is very potable and harmonious with a mildly expressed typical wine smell. Full taste, luxurious.In Podgorica’s viticulture area, out of the selected vintage of Vranac, upon alcoholic fermentation, the total quantity of the crushed grapes is distilled in the copper distillation devices. The best distillates are separated and they mature at least one year in the inert material vats.
By selection of the grape varieties Vranac and Kratošija, fine distillates have been made which mature at least one year and develop specific varietal aroma with the balanced taste, lingering and full.

It is recommended as an aperitif or digestive, cooled at 4-6°C.If consumed as an aperitive,it is usually served with salted sticks, salted crackers, salted, roasted almond and peanuts. If consumed as a digestive, it is best with dry figs and walnuts.

Plantaze Vranac Barrique

The wine, vintage 2007, the grapes from the best parcels of the Cemovsko field, picked in the period of full, technological ripeness with the best polyphenolic complex and high sugar contents. Fermentation has been performed in the inox vats by applying all modern technological treatments , after which it was transferred into the new barriques (80% French oak, 20% American oak) in which it has laid down for a year in specially controlled conditions. having been emptied from the barrique, it laid down in the inox vat for 7-8 months and now, it has been tended in the wine cellar Šipcanik in a completely natural environment. The wine held varietal aromas,a recognizable scent of small,red fruit of blueberry and mature sour cherry and in the background a mild,vanilla finish.By laying down in the oak barrel, it became enriched with nice, sweet tannins,rounded,full,soft and long lasting.The combination of Vranac and oak is a perfect harmony of scent and taste. With further laying down in the bottle,it will improve its quality.It is served at 18-20 C. It is recommended with all red meat dishes,spicy and fatty,with all game meat,prosciutto and fatty cheese.

Plantaze Vranac Procorde

Vranac Procorde is a premium, dry wine of the controlled origin.

It is unique in the technological process of production which enriches it by the natural way with additional contents of proanthocyanidols and tannins which are natural ingredients of the grapes and which have the power to bind the free radicals, having beneficial effect on the human body.

It is made of the most sun illuminated,selected bunches of grapes of the autochtonous grape variety Vranac. It holds in itself all marks of time and specificity of the terrain.

This wine is dark red,full bodied and extractive. It has not only nutritive but also pharmacological value if it is daily, in modest amounts,the integral part of the meal.It is served at 17-19 C.

It is recommended with all red meat dishes, spicy and fatty, with all game meat, prosciutto as well as with all fatty cheese with strong smell.

Plantaze Vranac

Montenegrin Vranac is a powerful and robust southern wine,made of the autochtonous variety Vranac which had been grown for centuries in Crmnitza,the area stretching from Lake Skadar towards the Adriatic sea,at the altitude of 500 m.

Today, Vranac is a leading variety in Podgorica’s viticultural area, giving the premium quality with very balanced relation between sugar and acids.Vineyards, established in the shallow, skeletal soils,sun drenched over 2500 hours annually, give the premium quality of the grapes which is converted by applying the latest technology into the premium wine. The wine is of dark red ruby colour. On nose nad taste it resembles mature sour cherries and forest fruit with vanilla tones, leaving the lingering taste of fullness and warmth. It is of a very pleasant astringency, which gives it the possiblity of laying down and maturing.

It matches best with local food,which you may taste if you arrive in our country, but it is perfect with ham, prosciutto and all red meat dishes,game meat and even, fish. It matches perfectly the spicy red meat , grilled meat as well as the sheep’s cheese.It is served at 17-20 C.

Plantaze Cabernet

Montenegrin Cabernet is premium red wine, made of the variety Cabernet. The best properties of cabernet and complementary variety Vranac have been expressed in the wine.Dark red colour with rich extract, complex and pleasant aroma, reminiscent of violet, luxurious and harmonious taste.

Soft tannins enriching the wine, give it fullness and round the pleasant taste of blackberry and black currant, backed up with vanilla tone. It is the variety which adapted very fast to the conditions of rocky ?emovsko field. A great number of sunny days with average sunshine of 8,2 h, with irrigation in summer months, give the grapes of which the high quality wine is produced.

It is served at 16-18°C. It is recommended with the dishes of red,not so fatty meat, with fatty river or lake fish,with white meat as well as with the cheese of not so strongly expressed smell.

Plantaze Merlot

Montenegrin Merlot is premium red wine of the controlled origin and quality. It preserves the best properties of the Merlot variety and complementary variety Vranac from the locality of ?emovsko field.Wine is dark ruby colour, of balanced bouquet and fullness, which makes it typical for famous wines of Montenegrin viticultural area.

Famous French variety preserved its best characteristics in Podgorica’s viticultural area and it has acquired nobility and subtlety resulting from sunshine, rock and grapevines in the contact of Mediterranean and continental climate.

It is served at 16-18°C.It is recommended with all white and red meat dishes, not so spicy, as well as with the poppy and walnut pastries.

Plantaze Sasso Negro

Multi annual research have shown that the grape varieties Syrah Primitivo and San Giovese may have their new homeland on the stony Cemovsko field. These grape varieties with less quantitz of Vranac make the base for the production of wine of high quality. Sasso negro or black stone, in translation, is a premium wine, red ruby colour with the violet nuance.

It is made of the selected grapes from the stony terrains of the Cemovsko field in Podgorica’s viticultural area. Powerful and robust southern wine,complex on nose and with the aroma of small red fruit. It matures in the wooden barrels which gives it a specific character.

It is recommended with all dishes made of red meat, chicken, grilled dishes,pastas and semi-fatty cheese. It is served at 17-20 C.

Natural sweet wine MEDUN

By the late harvest of the selected berries, the contents of the residual sugar in the grape is increased by the natural way.

The wine is of exquisite fullness, roundness,complexity with the lingering luscious fruit-creamy taste with the chocolate finish.

The real pleasure is fulfilled if served at 15-18 C.

Plantaze Chardonnay Barrique

Chardonnay barrique - As a variety, Chardonnay is known for matching with the oak better than any other white wine. Certainly, in the case the tendance in the barrique is managed carefully and skillfully. The oenologists of Plantaze managed to keep the features of Chardonnay, vintage 2006, saved its identity and refined it with the finest oak notes. Fruit, vanilla and alcohol are perfectly balanced, wine is easy and potable with the expressed depth and particularity of the region from which it originates. By the soft use of arrique, Chardonnay has been ‘educated’, the diploma of which has been recognized all over the world.

The wine - Vintage 2006 was made of the grapes from the best localities, limited quantities and selected quality. The fermentation was performed in the inox vat as well as the malolactic fermentation, after which the wine was decanted into new barriques. In the period of 3-4 months this wine had undergone battonage, i.e. lifting the yeast and sediment in order to enrich the wine with mano proteins and polysaccharides, giving it the taste with full and sweet tones. Wine has aged in these barriques for 10 months, after which it was transferred to inox vats where it matured about 6 months before bottling.

It is recommended with all fish appetizers, seafood, risottos and piquant soups. It is served at 8-10°C.

Plantaze Chardonnay

Montenegrin Chardonnay - On the rocky soil of microlocality ‘Milješ’, beside the river or better,lost river Cijevna,running from the Albanian mountains nearby, this old French variety has found all that she likes: poor and rocky soil, lime,water permeable and warm soil.It gives wine of light straw-coloured colour.

Its bouquet is typical and recognizable by fresh,fruity aromas of pineapple and green apple. Some tasters may recognizenhalf-ripen apple, the others walnut,as well. Podgorica’s Chardonnay, as the child of the South,belongs to the type of full bodied wines,dry with structure and considerable volume of alcohol.The wine is greenish,with balanced taste,nice aftertaste without bitterness and astringency.The grapes are vinified by the procedure for the white wines,and the use of selected yeasts and low fermentation temperature

(14-17°C), make the taste and smell of this wine remain the same.

It is served at 8-10°C. It is recommended with all fish appetizers,seafood, risottos and piquant soups.

Plantaze Krstac

Montenegrin Krstac is a national, premium, white,dry wine, made of the grapes of the autochtonous grape variety “Krstac”. This variety had been grown from ancient times in the vineyards of Podgorica’s viticultural area. It is specific for the berry size and form of the bunch which resembles the cross, after which it took its name.

On Cemovsko field it is grown on the microlocality “Nikolj Crkva“,and all efforts to transfer it to another area failed. The wine is on the transition from Mediterranean to continetal type, light gold colour with greenish reflection and nicely expressed fruity aroma of peach and pear.It is light bodied,which makes it fresh on palate and easy drinking

It is served at 10-12°C. It is recommended with all fish appetizers,light soups, fish and eggs based dishes as well as with the white,less spicy meat. Well cooled may serve as an aperitive.
